National Honor Society and Honor Students Take on Selma
Selma was a great experience and really paints the picture of the hardships that African Americans faced during that time period. The movie brought tears to the eyes of many and opened the eyes of many. It was a great field trip to go on because it allowed for us to all learn something new. Being able to witness this big event in the Civil Rights movement on big screen was breathtaking, It was a great cast and this movie offered inspiration and insight to the small group who witnessed it. Maybe the Civil Rights Movement isn't over as my Hispanic friends state that the next revolution will be Hispanic rights. They believe that the battle for equality is still going on today and this movie offered inspiration to them. I urge for everyone to make time to see this amazing film.
